Beijing Training Center Signed 2008 Training Contract with Shandong
  Yankuang Group

On December 6^th, 2007, Siemens Automation and Drives Beijing Training Center signed the 2008 training contract with Shandong Yankuang Group. The total amount reached RMB248, 000 and involved 80 trainees.

Yankuang Group is the most important coal production and export group in Shandong province. Yankuang group always pay attention to employees' training and quality-improvement. Since cooperation with Siemens Automation and Drives Beijing Training Center in 2005, Yankuang has signed contracts valued RMB500, 000 and RMB248, 000 respectively.

Mr. Lv, section leader of Yankuang Education & Training Center visited Beijing Training Center with other 18 persons on Dec.6th, 2007. Mr. Chen Shiye, deputy manager of Siemens Automation and Drives Training, introduced Siemens A&D and Training business and answered visitors' questions. At the end of their visit, Yankuang Group signed the 2008 training contract with Beijing Training Center.

Yankuang Group is one of our long-time cooperation partners. We will constantly provide excellent service to bring profit to customer and enhance our cooperation relation with Yankuang Group.

The successful fulfillment of Ma Steel Training Contract

As one of the biggest orders in Training business, Shanghai Training Center made arrangement for every course. The key part of Ma Steel Training Contract was executed in year of 06-07. The rest are relatively uncommon course which arrange in low frequency. And the execution faced much difficulty such as limited Training Demos. With the good coordination of the whole Dept, we finally accomplished the entire training. Furthermore, we equipped the trainer with extensive experience in Steel Industry to execute the training, which obtained very good results.

Currently, the training package is in smooth execution. With the rest payment completely allocated in Oct, 2007, the whole training contract has almost been executed. We sincerely hope this first wide range training program would lay a solid foundation for further cooperation.

Siemens Automation and Drives Training Stated on the 2007 CIIF

China International Industrial Fair was held during Nov.5th to 7th 2007 in Shanghai New International Expo Center. Siemens Ltd., China staged on this Fair first time for its product lines across business groups from A&D, I&S, SBT, Lightening and Household appliances. The 288 square-meter booth style like a space boat attracted lots of visitors' attention.

CIIF was the first big public marketing show in year of 07-08. Siemens Automation and Drives Training also took it as a good platform to promote its training business. The marketing department made careful preparation for this show including creating latest promotion materials to guarantee the sufficient supply for the fair. Training consultants provided thoroughly introduction and explanation to the visitors along the fair. It also received amount of valuable information and feedbacks during the fair, which would attribute for the further business development.

Customized Course for Pudong International Airport

The 2^nd period airport-terminal project of Shanghai Pudong International Airport will be finished soon and put into use before the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and all the 13 Baggage Delivery System apply Siemens PLC controller. Based on the application feedback of the 1st period project and the system adjustment in the 2nd project, Pudong Airport Motor Communication Dept initiated the training program.

Pudong Airport sent 6 engineers from its technology team for the training program. All of them are novices who have never accepted the related systematic training with limited basic knowledge. Trainers from Siemens Automation and Drives Training discussed with the chef engineer from Pudong Airport about the course content. To meet the needs of trainees for Equipment maintenance and installation & commissioning, the key content of the course focus on S7-300/400 Failure Diagnosis and Net like Profibus, ASI and Industrial ET Net.

With the help of elaborate course arrangement and systematic training, trainees gained lots of valuable knowledge about the system. Combined with their previous on-site experience, the training course turned out efficient. According to the trainees' feedback and the summary from the trainer, the Training Consultant provided them with further training solutions for the further development, which obtained widely praises from Pudong Airport Engineering Dept.

Donation for the Rural Areas

In December 2007, Guangzhou Training Center staff participated in the Siemens Automation and Drives Region South Annual Meeting. On 14th December, an auction was held in the Banqueting Hall. Guangzhou Training Center and Siemens Factory Automation Engineering Ltd., paid RMB 6900 for two pictures. The fund will be donated to rural areas.
