Siemens Low-voltage Circuit Breaker Co., Ltd. Shanghai (SCBC), set up in September, 2005, is a joint venture between Siemens Ltd., China, Industry Sector, Industry Automation & Drives Technologies Division and Shanghai Jingyi Electrical Apparatus Co., Ltd. SCBC is dedicated to the R&D, manufacture, sales and service of entire series of low-voltage circuit breakers, targeting both domestic and overseas markets and complies with a Quality Management Systems ISO9001:2000, an Environmental Management System ISO14001:2004 and an Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS18001:1999.

SCBC is located in Shanghai Qingpu Industrial Zone, which is a modern manufacturing base and R&D center for low-voltage circuit breakers that Siemens SLC I IA&DT set up, with an area total 100,000 square meters. The Phase I plant covers 30,000 square meters.

HA1,2,3 series intelligent type low-voltage air circuit breaker (ACB)

The HA1,2,3 series adopts solid-state release with micro-processor technology with high breaking capacity with intelligent protection selectivity ability, mainly intended for power distribution, protection if electrical equipment and circuits against overload, short-circuit and under voltage.

HM3 series molded case circuit breaker (MCCB)

HM3 series is developed to international standards and manufactured with advanced technology, mainly intended for power distribution, protection lf electrical equipment and circuits against overload, short-circuit and under voltage, and also for unfrequented switching of electric circuit under normal conditions. The MCCBS with frame rating up to and including 400A can be used for unfrequented starting, and interruption of squirrel cage motors, and for protection of motors against overload, short-circuit and under voltage.

HM3-R series residual current operating circuit breakers other then above mentioned functions is designed available also for protection of person and equipment not only against electric shock, but also against risks of fires originated by insulation failure of equipment.

HQ2 is the automatic transfer switch equipment (ATSE) with the latest IEC standard and successfully developed new product. It functions well and small bulk, convenience used, reasonable design and reliable quality. This series is applicable for the current 50Hz, 400V two electrical sources and can transfer the switch between the QN and QR to guarantee the electricity provided safely and reliable. The products are widely used in the hospital, market, bank, chemical engineer, high construction, fire protection etc.

3VT series molded case circuit breaker (MCCB)

The different versions of 3VT circuit-breakers are suitable for the following applications:

• Incoming and outgoing circuit-breakers in distribution systems
  
• Switching and protection devices for motors, transformers and capacitors
  
• Main control switches and EMERGENCY-STOP switches in conjunction with lockable rotary operating mechanism and terminal covers.
