Siemens Mechanical Drive Systems (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.
Siemens Mechanical Drive Systems (Tianjin) Co., Ltd , previously Flender Power Transmission (Tianjin) Co., Ltd, was solely invested by Flender Group - the world leading manufacturer of mechanical and electrical power transmission equipment in the year 1996. The company locates at Tianjin Beichen Economic Development Area(BEDA). In 2005, Flender was acquired by Siemens Automation and Drives Group, Flender Power Transmission (Tianjin) Co., Ltd was renamed as Siemens Mechanical Drive Systems (Tianjin) Co., Ltd following that and became one of the operating companies in China under Siemens Automation and Drive Group. The acquisition of Flender has perfected A&D's product portfolio, enabling A&D to offer complete drive solutions from starters/inverters to gear units.
We provide diversified categories of power transmission products that are able to meet different requirements of industrial sectors, including FZG (standard industry gears), MOTOX (geared motors), CAVEX (worm gears), HD (heavy duty gear units), IDA (industrial drive applications), Winergy (wind energy gears), couplings, gears and parts. These products are widely deployed in light industry, material handling, coal and mining, metal and metallurgy, cargo loading and unloading, chemical industry and environment protection.,
During the past decade Flender Group continuously increased its capital injection into Flender Power Transmission (Tianjin) for extending warehouse, building gear processing workshop (Extension II) and the assembly center (Extension III). In particular, the assembly center, so far the largest of its kind by scale in Asia with a total area of 27,000m2, consists of warehouse, assembly lines, testing zones, painting plants and delivery zone. It is equipped with three bays, which are designed respectively for small and medium sized gears, big gears weighing 5-45 tons and wind energy gears weighing between 10 and 75 tons. With advanced manufacturing technologies and modern equipments, Flender has significantly shortened the delivery time and improved the quality of products.
We expect to further enlarge the assembly centre, as well as extend the casting workshop and gear workshop over the coming three to five years, since we have ushered in a new era of growth beginning 2006 as an integral part of Siemens A&D's business in China.
