Siemens Circuit Protection Systems Ltd., Shanghai (SCPS) is a joint venture between Siemens Ltd. China and Shanghai Power Transmission and Distribution Co., Ltd. The company started operation beginning March 1996. SCPS is committed to providing the latest building electric installation technologies and products to the China market, with its well-trained and highly-motivated employees, imported equipment and testing instruments. For example, SCPS will launch new accessories of 5SJ series, such as 5ST3, 5TE8, to enlarge the range.

We also have a R&D centre. Established in Oct 2002, the centre is an important integral part of Siemens' global electric installation business, and has been introducing new products tailored to the China market.

SCPS has a complete and strict quality assurance system and is certified by ISO 9001:2000. Moreover, all our products have acquired the State-compulsory 3C certificate. Favoured by our customers, the products top the list of recommended products for residential buildings by the country's Ministry of Construction.

Major products:

• 5S series MCBs: used in low-voltage electric equipments for protecting conducts wires, switches and sockets and electric units from overload and short- circuit; and applicable under diversified conditions. Widely adopted in industries, government buildings, construction buildings, high-tech public facilities and household appliances, it represents the best performance-price ratio products with latest technology.

• 3NA3 series fuses: mainly used in power distribution. Advantages: Finely graded selectivity level (to 1:1:2.5), low fixed power losses (less than that required by IEC standard), stable performance, resistance to aging, safe in operation.

• 5SU9 RCCBs: mainly used in power distribution and electric devices, it protects electricity leakage resulting from events such as direct or indirect contacts with electrified bodies (human being or others), overvoltage, fire and destroyed insulation. It complies with standards adopted in different countries and regions, including CCC, IEC and GB certificate.

• DELTA^® vega series sockets and switches: tailored-made for China market. A perfect combination of modular technology, Siemens' top-class quality and innovative design: beautiful radian, refined curve, brief European style, all attentive to details.

• DELTA^® azio series sockets and switches: a fruit of joint R&D forces from Europe, America and Asia, the product is embodied with Siemens' design style "brief but not simple".
