Siemens Sensors and Communication Ltd. (SSCL)
Siemens Sensors and Communication Ltd. which repose on Qixian Ling, High-tech Industrial Zone, Dalian was set up on Oct.17th, 2006. SSCL is fully owned by SLC and the register capital is 9,9 Million Euro. This is the second factory the division sensor & communications has been opened in China and overall it¡¯s the 15th factory of the A&D group in China. The production will be synchronized with Siemens¡¯ other plants for this product range located in Germany, France, Canada, Denmark and the United States, in terms of product portfolio, size, performance, quality and technological standard. Embedded with minimization and modular technologies that have improved intelligence in applications.
The main operations of SSCL is as below:
- 1, Manufacture and distribution of industrial process instrument, sensors,
weight product, analysis instrument , communication equipment and the related system and parts.
- 2, Provide the service for integration, installation, debugging, maintain and so on of system project. At the same time The training center in Dalian will service China and the whole Asia Pacific Region and offer trainings in all fields of process instrumentation .
- 3, The technique development , transfer, consultation and service.
R&D department here in Dalian targets the development of new products for the process industry as well for the Chinese as for the world market based on latest technologies.
The total area of SSCL is 40.000 square meter, building area is with more than 15.000 square meter, workshop is with 7000 square meter. The production has began from Aug. 2007. At present the whole number of employee is 73 with more than 10 masters and doctors.
SSCL is a new member of the whole Siemens family. We will try our best to serve our customer with the product which is developed and produced in China. At the same time The R&D department here in Dalian targets the development of new products for the process industry as well for the Chinese as for the world market based on latest technologies. This will happen in cooperation with different university and other R&D competence center.
