On November 21^st, 2008, Siemens Ltd., China, Industry Sector, Industry Automation & Drive Technologies (SLC I IA&DT) and HUAXIN CEMENT signed a cooperation agreement, which requires Siemens IA&DT to provide products and systems for the to be carried out cement production line and powder mill station equipments of HUAXIN CEMENT, and explains the preferential policies offered by Siemens.

After signing the agreement, HUAXIN CEMENT will apply Siemens system products in its monitoring system and branch control system of cement production line, powder mill stations and excess-heat electricity generation project in Xianning and Zigui of Hubei province, Zhuzhou, Haozhou and Daoxian of Hunan province, Fuling, Quxian, Wanyuan and Yubei of Sichuan province and Yunnan province. These products include Siemens PLC, PROFIBUS, Distribute I/O, PROFIBUS PA, SIMATIC Industrial Ethernet, SIMATIC PCS 7 and CEMAT. HUAXIN CEMENT is a leading enterprise in cement industry with a long history, and is one of the large-sized industrial enterprises that Chinese government focuses on. It specializes in the manufacturer and sales of cement, concrete, cement equipments and packing products, sets up an environment-friendly industry, and owns the first rank technology, devices, credibility and service in the world.

This cooperation agreement achieves a win-win situation, by which HUAXIN CEMENT wins a credible supplier and its preferential policies, whereas Siemens gets its products and systems further promoted in cement industry.
