The 4th China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition (abbre. CIEME) was held in Shenyang from August 30 to September 3, 2005. Siemens Automation and Drives Group “future of automation” road show truck – “Machine Tool” truck joined the exhibition. It is the virgin show up in China and attracts lots of visitors on CIEME.

With Siemens spirit of “Global Network of Innovation”, Siemens Machine Tool road show truck presents SINUMERIK controls, SIMODRIVE series, Software and special solutions in machinery automation, which have wide applications, ranging from high-speed, high-accuracy complex machining to economical numerical control machining.

With great interests, Mr. Zhang Baoguo, the director of region northeast office of National Development Committee, Mr. Chen Zhenggao, mayor of Shenyang and other provincial government officials visited the truck. Mr. He Yuankai, the general manager of Region Northeast, made the presentation for them. During the five days exhibition, “Machine Tool” truck attracted nearly one thousand professional visitors. It is a big highlight of the whole exhibition.

Top MT OEMs and many OEMs joined CIEME this time. CIEME became more and more professional, powerful and effective fair in Region Northeast even in whole China. With this advantage, it is the fourth time that Siemens join CIEME. Except showing the truck, Siemens also covered 180 square meter booth inside the exhibition hall. Continued to use the professional booth design style of Siemens Hanoverian Exhibition, the booth not only presented the whole products of automation and drives especially focused on motion control and process automation, but also showed the advanced technology and up-to-date products which widely applied in manufacturing and automobile industries. Thousands of visitors visited Siemens booth. Siemens booth awarded the prize of “Best Booth” which granted by the exhibition organization committee.
