During Sep. 22^nd to 24^th, the 4^th National Vocational Education Equipment Fair, hosted by Ministry of Education, China Technical and Vocational Education Academy (CTVEA) and Tianjin Municipal Education Commission, and organized by China Educational Instrument & Equipment Corporation, was successfully held in Tianjin International Exhibition Center. Ms. Wu Qi Di, Vice Minister of Education Ministry, Ms. Zhang Jun Fang, Vice Mayor of Tianjin, and Officials from Education Ministry and CTVEA presented on the Opening Ceremony and visited the fair.

his fair aims at presenting modern educational and technical level, improving the infrastructure of vocational schools and colleges, showing the latest achievements of vocational education equipment development home and abroad, providing opportunities of learning advanced education equipment for vocational schools and institutes, and promoting communication and cooperation among schools, colleges and suppliers. Siemens has concerned and supported the development of CNC training in China. We not only provide hardware and software regarding CNC training system to the vocational schools and institutes, but also make great efforts to build up cooperation with them. Siemens presented the cutting edge CNC systems and training systems specially designed for vocational education, and introduced advanced software, hardware and solutions to the visitors.

At Siemens booth, SINUMERIK 802D, ShopMill, ShopTurn and Sinutrain, which was specially designed for CNC operation & programming of vocational education, were on show. Most of the visitors, including students, teachers and technicians and workers from workshops, conveyed their good impression, concerns and beliefs on Siemens products and solutions, and expressed their wills to cooperate with Siemens. During the fair, Dr. Thomas Menzel, CNC training expert from Siemens AG, attended the 1st International Vocational Education Equipment Forum, and made a attractive and wonderful speech on the topic of Siemens Strategy in Chinese Vocational Education, expressing Siemens good wills to cooperate with Chinese Vocational Education more in the future, which gained appreciation of the audience.

In addition, Dr. Menzel visited AFZ, Chinese-German Vocational Training Center and Vocational Technology Institute in Tianjin. Liu Xue Jian, Head of the Institute, and Dr. Winfried Heusinger, Vice President of the Institute, warmly welcomed and held a friendly meeting with Dr. Menzel. Both sides expressed their good will and strong belief of cooperation, and decided to start the cooperation program in the near future. Siemens will further expand investment and cooperation in Chinese vocational education, train more excellent CNC technicians through this fair, and fully devote to make more contributions to improve technique level of Chinese CNC training.
