In May 2007, Unit 2 generator of Dalate Power Plant's 4th stage has successfully passed 168-hour trial operation test, and soon after that it has been formally used into commercial operation. Until now, 128 sets of inverter and motor have been used to continuously operate with full load. In December of last year, Unit 1 generator in Dalate Power Plant's 4th stage had already been officially used in commercial procedure. Because of the highly efficiency and reliable nature, Siemens's SD products got unanimously positive feed back from the Dalate Power Plant.

Dalate Plant is the largest thermal plant in Hua Neng Group. It has the planning installation capacity of 5000 KM, and will become a very important national electricity transmission power project from the west to the east North Channel. Further more, it is also the key power resource for Inner Mongolia to implement a strategy for the conversion of coal-fired electricity. At the same time, Dalate Plant becomes one of the important power resource for Beijing's 2008 Olympic Games' construction and operation. Dalate Power Plant's Air-cooling condenser system is now the largest power generator, which used most SD products running at the same time. It owns the largest order numbers in the Air-Cooling industry. The entire Dalate Plant drive solution for the Air-Cooling fans are fully independent designed and signed the drive solution contract in China. The stable operation of SD products will not only further enhance the SD products' influence in the power industry, but also strengthened the ability and the confidence of SD to provide total Integrated drive Solutions in the future.

Air-cooled air crew is a cooling method that can replace by using water as the cooling medium. When the plant turbine exhaust cooling system uses air-cooled system, it not only can greatly reduce the power plant water consumption, but also significantly reduce the discharge of waste, that played a positive role for the local environment.
