In March 2007, Siemens IA&DT Group Training Center cooperated with Xi'an Technician College to set up Siemens Authorization CNC (802D) Training Center, Xi'an and developed the SINUMERIK 802D courses. Our goal is to provide our customers and college students with high quality SINUMERIK 802D courses both in theory and practice, bring modern vocational training concept into the colleges, promote advanced training concept and enhance scientific education. Certificate will be awarded for each participant at the end of the course.

The authorization SINUMERIK 802D training center totally follows the quality standard of Siemens IA&DT training centers and will promote the practice-lead vocational training method in Shan Xi Province.

Introduction about Xian Technician College

Xi'an Technician College（the original Xidian Senior Technical school）was founded in 1953, under the national large enterprises Xi'an Electrical Machinery Manufacturing Company. It is a socially oriented training institution which trains middle& senior skilled talents.

In 1997, XTC was approved to be the state's key mechanic school by the National Institute of Labor Force; in 2001, approved to be senior mechanics school by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security; in 2004, renamed Xi'an Technician College by the Shaanxi Provincial Government. In the Sino-German Joint Group of Experts on vocational education mission, the College has been identified as the cooperation between China and Germany "vocational training and employment promotion in the western region project Xian training base".

College students in the current academic education are over 6,000. There are more than 30 leading technology and professional category classroom and laboratories, the CNC machine tools, CNC equipment maintenance experiments sets, electricity experiments sets and more than 400 sets modern equipments.

State enterprises Xi'an Electrical Machinery Manufacturing Company, the competent authorities as a college, supply funds for extracurricular and student internship skills base. Currently, the College has established internship base with nine company-owned enterprises. Outside internship production bases possess a rich practical experience of engineers, technicians as part-time teachers to guide the students in the production skills and commitment internship teaching students production tasks.
