On Sep. 25, 2003, after one-and-half-year of successful travel across Europe, the messenger for innovative technology from Siemens A&D - "Exider" at last arrived with its magic experience in automation technology in China.

The messenger got into China through the customs of Manzhouli, at which Russia joins with China. On Sep. 26th, under the direction of experts from China, Russia and Germany, it was hoisted to change tracks.

On Sep., 28th, the train will start running on Chinese railway and visiting its first station Harbin full of technical inspirations from the German Siemens Automation as well as expectations from the Chinese industrial circle. To guarantee that all equipment which will be demonstrated to the Chinese industrial circle, will be the latest, most progressive industrial automation technology and comprehensive solutions from Siemens A&D, all technical material will be converted into Chinese, and will go through a final updating before its travel in China. The exhibition demonstrates the most advanced automation technology and solutions of the modern industrial society and will start from Harbin, in sequence to Changchun, Shenyang, Beijing, Tianjin, Jinan, Nanjing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Chengdou, Chongqing, Guiyang, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, i.e. 16 cities altogether.

While enjoying the completely new form of demonstration, the visitors from the industrial circle at the cities and surrounding areas named above, will be highly impressed by the powerful global industrial progress aroused by the most advanced automation technology

One may well say that the "Exider" has created a new miracle for communication between enterprises and industrial users. The Train consists of 14 cars with a length of 280m and a totally weight of 580t. More than 40,000 products, systems, solutions and services will be demonstrated to the visitors. All products will be displayed through bright and colorful exhibits, transparent application examples, and videos with a strong feeling for being on-site and humanized multi-media means. All explanations are strictly kept in an easy to understand language.

During his stays in more than 20 European countries, and more than a hundred-visited cities, all visitors were very much impressed by the high inspiring form of demonstrating the products. During the relaxing visit of the train, the technical inspirations from industrial systems light up one by one. The complete and intensive communication enabled the visitors to understand the application tendency for the future of industry and basic construction more deeply.

On a train like this, full of completely new experiences in technology, rich knowledge of leading technology and powerful strength from Siemens A&D in different business fields are carried out. Since "Exider" entered into the Chinese customs of Manzhouli, the Chinese Railway started to cater for the 2 months travel of the famous technology messenger from Germany. During the following 16 visits to various cities from north to south, the "Exider" will keep an unprecedented dialogue with the Chinese industrial circle, the smooth on-site exchange, the interactive form of demonstration and the forward industrial design concept.
