The show is on the road with Siemens A&D: a train full of experiences on display
 In a mobile trade show on rails, Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) is demonstrating its expertise as an industrial solution provider in 14 railroad cars: the train is called "exider" and will travel a circuit of more than one hundred cities in Europe and Asia over the next two years.
Highlighting the dynamic character of the train, Siemens chose the name exider to associate it as the purveyor of a world of experience for the "Future of Automation". The Siemens train rolls along on 56 axes at a total length 300 meters, presenting the complete range of A&D products from an unusual perspective.
"With the exider, we want to take our show out to the customers and join them on a trip through the world of modern industrial automation, drive, switching and installation technology," explained Head of Siemens A&D Group Communication Peter Miodek in reference to the project. He considers the Exider more than just a "rolling exhibition". the Exider spotlights both technology and trends as well as Siemens' industry expertise under the motto "One-stop solutions".
