SIMOTION Line Tension Control

The standard application SIMOTION Line Tension Control is implementing line-tension-controls based on the motion control system SIMOTION. It is applicable for film-, coating-, printing-, textile-machines, etc. Features: Closed loop control (e.g. dancer control) and indirect tension control, torque limiting, torque pre-control (tension, acceleration, friction)

Using the appropriate devices and equipment, the standard application SIMOTION Line Tension Control allows a comprehensive tension control solution to be implemented for a wide range of applications. For instance, these include foil making machines, coating machines and textile machines.

Solution
The central element is a parameterizable function block with which users can simply implement the functionality.
