Des cription of Error:

· You have attempted to insert an object which is not available or cannot be inserted for technical reasons.

· You have attempted to insert a further AS-i slave in an IE/AS-i Link module with packed addresses. When packed, the address range of the IE-AS-i Link was reduced to the address range actually needed.

To Correct or Avoid Error:

· Select an object (rack, module, interface module) from the hardware catalog which can be inserted at the required location.

· If the problem occurred inserting an As-i slave:

- Open the object properties of the IE/AS-i Link for the line 1 substitute (!AS-i-Adr." [1] column in the detailed view) or the line 2 substitute ("AS-i-Adr." [2] column in the detailed view) and then the "Pack" tab.

- Extend the reserved length according to the required address space of the AS-i slaves to be configured. Confirm with OK.

- The required AS-i slaves can now be inserted. See also:
