I am using MM440 to control a rolling feeder that follows a conveyer. MM440 needs to feed while conveyer running (NO tension control needed) and should maintain a kind of tension to keep the belt tight when conveyer stops. (The drive is needed to keep in Drive Running state all the time.)
I think of changing control mode from speed control to torque control to achieve it. But it seems I can’t do it when the drive is in Drive running state.
Anyone experienced in this kind of application can help me? Thanks for taking your time.
