Moeller WINbloc Remote I/O

The basic structure of the Moeller WINbloc systemconsists of a fieldbus bridge, an electronic I/O module and a field wiring base.

Bridges are available to connect with PROFIBUS-DP andCANopen fieldbus networks.

A selection of I/O modules is available to meet most requirements. Up to 10 modules can be used in each station. Each module becomes a passive network station on the fieldbus concerned. The bus address is set using rotary switches on the modules.

A wide range of different base modules are available with 2, 3 or 4 wire connections. The I/O wiring is connected using tension clamps. A high vibration resistant version called WINtrak is also available.

WINbloc, although still available, is being superceded by XI/ON. It is recommended that Micro Innovation xSystemN XI/ON is used for new projects.
