Preconditions for installation:

STEP 7 V5.3 or STEP 7 V5.3 SP1
STEP 7 Professional Edition 2004 or STEP 7 Professional Edition 2004 SR1

Clients with a valid Software Update Service agreement for STEP7 will receive the CD ROM with STEP 7 V5.3 incl. SP2 automatically.

Clients with a valid Software Update Service agreement for STEP7 Professional will also receive the CD ROM with STEP 7 Professional Edition 2004 Service Release 2 automatically. This CD ROM also contains the SP2 for STEP 7 V5.3 (see also entry ID 21298555 ).

Clients without any Software Update Service agreement can obtain the SP2 as follows:

Place an order with your Siemens contact
You can order the CD ROM with STEP 7 V5.3 incl. SP2 from your Siemens contact at a nominal charge. The order no. is: S79220-A7598-F

A separate CD ROM is available for the current STEP 7 Professional Edition 2004. This CD ROM with the STEP 7 Professional Edition 2004 Service Release 2 also includes the SP2 for STEP 7 V5.3 and is also available from your Siemens contact at a nominal charge. The order no. is: S79220-A7697-F.
