 The following minimum requirements have to be observed in case of STARTER without existing STEP 7 installation:

32-Bit Operating Systems:

·                     Microsoft Windows 2003 Server SP2

·                     Microsoft Windows 2008 Server

·                     Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3

·                     Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1

·                     Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate SP1

·                     Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (Standard Installation)

64-Bit Operating Systems:

·                     Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1

·                     Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate SP1

·                     Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (Standard Installation)

·                     Microsoft Windows Server 2008  R2

STARTER setup is possible with native Windows XP versions with far east languages only if the Windows XP or Windows 7 software is an MUI version.
