Basic Rs measurement under no-load conditions
Brief instructions to set the stator resistance Rs and the no-load current I0:
? The motor must be operated under no-load conditions.
? Set frequency control and enter motor data:
? P060 = 5 (drive setting)
? P100 = 3 (frequency control)
? P101 = ...

? P115 = 1 (automatic parameterization)
? Connect the source of the display torque (P038) to the I component of the speed controller K0155:
? P038.01 = 155
? Set Mstatic to 50 % - 80 %:
? P278 = 50 % ... 80 %
? Energize the inverter and set the reference frequency to 80 % of the limit frequency defined by
parameter P313.
? During operation, alternately monitor parameter r039.01 (display torque) and change P121 (stator
resistance) so that the value of display parameter r039.01 lies in the range of 2 % ... 4 %. The
value of parameter P121 found in this way is a good approximation of the total stator resistance
RS.
