I'm replacing an actual S5 configurations to S7. The S5 cpu S5-95U has defined a Sinec L2 communications with a SCADA over the Sinec L2 Port, using the FB252 and FB253 for the data exchange.

Now, the customer wants to migrate only the PLC. I suppose to install a S7-300 cpu, in particular a 315 2PN/DP, where the DP port is configured as SLAVE for a communications with another PLC.

How can I migrate the Sinec L2 communications on S7? Do I need  a CP342-5 also?
