Multi-user projects:

Close WinCC and save your project.

Open the WinCC Explorer.

Delete the generated/loaded server packages from the WinCC editor "Serverdata".

If you are using redundancy, open the Redundancy editor and disable the setting "Enable redundancy". Confirm with "OK".

Close the project and close the WinCC Explorer.

Then delete all the files with the file name extension "dcf" in your WinCC project directory. Also delete the older copies of the DCF file with the file name extension "dc*".

Open the WinCC Explorer again. The deleted files are created anew.

If you are using redundancy, open the Redundancy editor and enable the setting "Enable redundancy". Confirm with "OK". 

Generate/load the server packages anew in the WinCC editor "Serverdata".

Configure the preferred server and standard server anew in the WinCC Explorer.

Close the project and close the WinCC Explorer.

Open the WinCC Explorer again and start the WinCC Runtime.
