EM241 Modem Module & EM253 Position Module
Released Version 3.2 of its micro PLC programming software, SIMATIC STEP 7 Micro/WIN 32, in conjunction with the release of two new advanced S7-200 expansion modules – the EM241 Modem Module and the EM253 Position Module.

The EM241 Modem Module expands the functionality of the S7-200 Micro PLC into remote communications. Four modes are supported by the EM241 Module: Micro/WIN connection for remote programming and debugging, Modbus master/slave communication, alpha-numeric messaging and numeric paging, and CPU-to-CPU communications.

The EM253 Position Module is an S7-200 special function module that generates the pulse trains used for open loop control of the speed and position for either stepper motors or servomotors. It features high-speed control capabilities (up to 200,000 pulses per second) and can handle up to 25 profiles with up to four speed changes per profile. Advanced S-Curve profiling allow smooth starting and stopping of motion profiles.

CP243-2 S7-200 AS-I Master
This module is a Communications Processor Expansion Module to the S7-200 family of CPUs. It can have a maximum of two AS-I lines connected and address a total of 31 slave devices for a max. of 124 AS-I inputs and 124 AS-I outputs. Manual Sold Separately.
