The "S7ProSim Control" can be used in various external containers.
Please do the following when you would like to use the S7 Control in the worksheets of Visual Basic:

Open a new VB project.
Position the cursor on the toolbox.
Choose "right mousebutton > components..."
Select file S7WSPSMX.OCX
in STEP 7 V5.0 in path: "C:\SIEMENS\STEP7\S7WSI\S7WSPSMX.OCX"
in STEP 7 V5.1 in path: "C:\SIEMENS\PLCSIM\S7WSI\S7WSPSMX.OCX"
After confirmation with "OK", the control element "S7ProSim Control" will show up in the toolbox.
The control element then can be inserted in a VB form.
