Advanced PPI

With this setting you can establish multiple connections to one or multiple S7-200 CPUs in the PPI network. This enables multiple applications to go simultaneously online from a PC/PG in the PPI network.
Please not that this option is only available for the following new S7-200 CPU versions:

CPU 212 1.10 or later (fully supported only for 9600 baud)
CPU 214 1.10 or later
CPU 215 All versions
CPU 216 All versions
CPU 221 All versions
CPU 222 All versions
CPU 224 All versions
CPU 226 All versions
EM 277 All versions
Multiple Master Network

This setting allows communication via networks which contain a number of masters and a number of slaves.

?In the interface parameter set "PC/PPI Cable" you can deactivate the option if only slaves are connected to your programming device or PC.

?In other PPI interface parameter sets the option is always activated and cannot be deactivated.
