SINUMERIK840D分为标准型（840D）和出口型（840DE）。
下列功能840DE没有：
1. Interpolation with more than 4 axes----多于4轴的插补
2. 5-axis milling package----5轴铣削包
3. Helical interpolation 2D + n (n greater than 2)----螺旋线插补2D+n(n大于2)
4. OEM package----OEM软件包（这不是开发界面的OEM而是NC的OEM软件包）
下列功能840DE有限制：
1.Sag compensation is restricted to the traversing of a path of up to 10 mm.
悬垂补偿移动距离小于10mm
2.Adaptive control.
