The Error Report dialog enables you to display the last application error messages saved in the cyclic buffer. When you exit the application, the error messages are deleted; that is, the error messages are not saved in a file. Every running application has its own cyclic buffer. This means that not all the error messages are displayed together for every application that is running, but only those which belong to a specific open application.
The dialog box is split into an error list and a "Message" field.

Error List

This list shows the last error messages. The number of error messages is limited by the size of the cyclic buffer. By clicking on a specific error message, it is selected and entered under "Message" in the lower part of the dialog box.

"Message" Field

The error message selected in the list is displayed again separately according to title and contents. The symbol to the left of the contents text explains the type of error message.

· Click the "Help Text" button to display the help text for the error message.

· Click the "Go To" button to jump to the position at which the error occurred. If the "Go To" button is not active, no jump is possible.
