The problem can occur:
- when using user-defined bus parameters
- when using one of the following CPs as active PROFIBUS party:
- CP342-5 (6GK7 342-5DA02-0XE0) up to firmware version V5.0
- CP342-5 FO (6GK7 342-5DF00-0XE0) up to firmware version V5.0
- CP343-5 (6GK7 343-5FA01-0XE0) up to firmware version V4.0
- when configuring " Tslot_init = max. Tsdr + 15 " or " Tslot_init = max. Tsdr + 16 "
After loading the configuration the following response will occur:
- all LEDs of the CP34x-5 will flash (Fatal Error)
- the CP34x-5 with any of the above firmware versions cannot be reset anymore and must be returned to the factory for repair.
Remedy:
- Use the bus profiles Universal, Standard or DP
- If you use user-defined bus parameters please observe the following limits:
- max. Tsdr + 17 <= Tslot_init <= 16383 t_bit
Solution to the problem:
- A solution to the above problem will be published in a separate update
- A firmware update will be made available with which the problem can be resolved without having to return the CP for repair.
