Force
You can force addresses from the program editor while operating Program Status and from the Status Chart. To force a Program Status address, right click on a parameter and select force from the menu list. To force a Status Chart address to a certain value, you must first stipulate the desired value, either by reading it (if you want to force the current value) or typing it in (if you want to force the address to a new value). Once you use the force feature, the value is re-applied to the address with each scan until you unforce the address. The Force function overrides an immediate-read or immediate-write instruction. The Force function also overrides an output that was configured to go to a specified value on transition to STOP mode: if the CPU goes to STOP mode, the output is set to the forced value and not the configured value.Simulate a logical condition by forcing V or M memory as bytes, words, or double words, AI or AQ memory as words on even-numbered byte boundaries (such as AIW6 or AIW14), or I/O points (I and Q bit addresses). You can force 16 (V, M, AI, or AQ) addresses and all I/O bits (all I and Q bit addresses) at one time.
