Operating systems
STEP 7 V5.5 SP1 can be used with the following operating systems:
? MS Windows XP Professional SP2 or SP3
? MS Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 Standard Edition as workstation computer
? MS Windows 7 32 Bit Ultimate, Professional Enterprise (standard installation), with or without SP1. The Windows XP mode under Windows 7 has not been approved yet.
? New as of this SP: MS Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate, Professional and Enterprise, with or without SP1.
? New as of this SP: MS Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit), with or without SP1.
STEP 7 has not been tested on any other operating systems; use at your own risk.
